This course is a third year course designed to introduce students to the meaning,scope, nature and relevance of philosophy to education.It aims at acquainting of students with philosophy of education, develop critical attitude of philosophy by being able to re-examine certain educational concepts and issues and some schools of thoughts and their contributions to educational ideas and practices
