Course information

This course provides a background to most of the things you are going to be doing in Linguistics, as most of the terms and terminologies you are going to be working with as you journey through the Department of Linguistics and African Languages, University of Ibadan in pursuit of a BA in Linguistics. Here you get acquainted with the various definitions of linguistics, its scope, workings, branches, relevance to the society, among others.
