This course builds on the knowledge acquired from ECO 104: Introductory Mathematics for Economists I. It essentially covers introduction to calculus, functions of one variable and their continuity, techniques of differentiation – logarithmic, trigonometric and exponential functions. In particular, the course deals with application of these different concepts and methods to economic analysis. Consequently, the course is aimed at acquainting students with the rudiments of mathematical applications in economics.
