(v) Introduction of stereo-chemistry of compounds; structural ostereoisomerism (optical and geometrical); Optical activity and polarimetry; ORD/CD, molecular models and projection formulae; molecular dysimmetry. Racemization and resolution methods. (vi) Practicals – To complement the theoretical principles provided above. |
